What is AIVO Focus?
AIVO Focus is an optional per-learner add-on for distraction-free AIVO learning. During a Focus session your child's AIVO lesson, homework, or quiz stays front and center: an AIVO Pad or a school-managed Android device can fully lock to AIVO, a standard Android device pins the AIVO app, an iPhone or iPad shields the apps you choose with Apple's Screen Time tools, and on any other setup Focus Guard protects the AIVO app itself. Focus changes no learning content, one subscription covers the learner's linked personal devices, the AIVO Pad includes Focus at no extra charge, and you can cancel anytime — independently of your base plan. It is not a general parental-control app.

Only where that is truly possible, and we always say so honestly. An AIVO Pad or a school-managed Android device can fully lock to AIVO. A standard Android device pins the AIVO app — a strong helper your child can exit with the device's own unlock. An iPhone or iPad shields the apps you choose using Apple's Screen Time tools. On any other setup, Focus Guard protects the AIVO app itself while other apps stay open.
How much does AIVO Focus cost?
AIVO Focus is priced per learner, per month — see the pricing page for the current price. It works with Free, Pro, and Premium, has no free trial, and you can cancel anytime without touching your base plan. Schools and districts can include it by contract.
Is Focus a parental-control app?
No. Focus does one thing: it helps your child stay with their AIVO lessons, homework, and quizzes. It doesn't manage other apps' screen time, filter the web, or track your child's location.
Does Focus change what my child can learn?
Never. Focus adds no tutors, subjects, or minutes, and removes none — your learner's plan is exactly the same with or without it.
What about the AIVO Pad?
The AIVO Pad includes Focus on the Pad at no extra charge. A Focus subscription covers the learner's other linked personal devices.
Can my child exit in an emergency?
Always. The emergency exit needs no adult approval, and breaks, read-aloud, and accessibility supports are never blocked.
